Chapter One
The Wrong Room
He wandered into the wrong room at a literary festival and sat through an entire poetry reading meant for someone else.
Chapter Two
Stayed Anyway
He stayed because her voice was the only thing that made sense that afternoon. Afterward he told her so, badly, and she laughed and let him try again.
Chapter Three
The Proposal
He proposed with a poem of his own, read badly again, in the same room where he'd first heard hers.
